Employment agencies in Calgary
We're going to Calgary for a recce in June/July and want to arrange interviews at employment agencies. I'm easy enough being a legal secretary but can anyone recommend an agency suitable for OH please? He's hoping to go in under Industrial Electrician. He realises he'll have to do the Red Seal (any advice on this?). Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

I am confident you already know that legal secretaries are called legal assistants in Calgary and require a diploma. Robert Half Legal are likely to be your best bet but I can't recommend them.

Thanks for that, will look into Diversified.
I meant (as far as I am concerned) that secretarial/admin roles are pretty common so I should be able to find some sort of job quite easily even if I go back to school part-time to get the legal secretary diploma should it be needed. Whilst it would be nice to stay in the legal sector I'm not that fussed so will decide when I get there.
To be honest right now we're more worried about OH getting a job in September when he leaves the Navy, those bills have to be paid!!! We'll definitely look into it when we go to Calgary (in the hope he can get a job to get a temporary visa) but realistically we've got to look to September first. After 22 years in the mob I think OH is finding it quite daunting having to find a 'proper job' be it in Canada or England.
