I'm up for that. Can you prove the congruency theorem for an ordered pair of groups of homeomorphisms of a metric space satisfying an abstract dilation-translation relationship? You may discover that a corollary is the existence of wavelet sets, and hence of single-function wavelets, for arbitrary expansive matrix dilations on L 2 (â„ n).

I'm still trying to find what congruency has to do with a pair of Homo's....

yeah sure as long as it belongs to the restrictions related to lebasges measure?? but then this was in the 90's but then this is not what i would teach as i would rather focus in the implications of maths and its application to applied problems. but nice to know that someone understands ideas that are a little it more abstract then e and i's

That would be a hoot to teach at First Nations schools in Prince Albert...you could go out on fish-runs and figure out the size of a custom container will be needed to fill the fish stock.

Hopefully they'll have the river cleaned up and drinking water restored by the time you arrive.

They're trying to supply the whole city with flexible temporary "pipelines" from upstream and from the Little Red but from what they show on the news it doesn't look adequate, and clean water could be in short supply for awhile.
