if we moved back to the uk would you do it without a offer of employment in place or just jump :ohmy:

For me the job was the reason that we came here and even though our lives have been hard, the employer has been good and is the reason that we stay, plus now OH has so many contacts that even if the job went pants we would be able to stay as it would be easier to get another job :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

Since helping other expats do the same as we do, i see all different familys do the move, but to come here with young kids and no job, would honestly scare the hell out of me, but each to there own eh!!!!!!

Its not that hard to move over on TWP once you get the employer to apply for it, you get your LMO and hand in at the airport (as long as you dont need medicals) and done WP in hand........
OK maybe not as clean cut as that, but honestly not that hard, for us i didnt want to move without a job to come to, with little kids it would be ok to be PR but then you are risking that there is the right jobs in the area :p

You advise poster that your OH is in construction....what does he do??
The construction here in town is still very strong with new buildings going up daily and larger ones as well, but winter is coming and they are trying to finish them off...........lol
But i would do a general search of the site for twp and there is loads of people come over this way...good luck

Hey, thanks a lot. I am moving with Partner and kids too so pretty scary. I have just heard that a company who was bought by the firm i work for in London wants to offer me a job. So me and the fam may be here sooner rather then later. I would never have moved with a job anyway.
About to head out to Whistler now. The bad weather in BC hasnt put us off suprisingly.
