I have had an email from my immigration lawyer saying we are eligible for fast track and that it will be processed in sidney and they want the remainig information sent to London filling in the forms for Buffalo CICS.

Confused with some location in that message. Where is Sidney and Buffalo?

How long does fast track take?

So excited but confused. Yesterday I was having to do LMO and today I am en route to PR!

If you're going out there on a twp with an LMO why would you ever send your PR application to Sydney? Only Category 1 apps get sent to Sydney first off I thought?

Arranged employment applications for PR can either be sent to Buffalo OR London why would you send to all 3?

My permanent application has been going through for 7 months. The LMO is for job offer that I have to go over sooner on TWP. TWP and job will then allow fast track of PR. That is how I understand it

If your application has been in for 7 months, that was before the list and new rules were in place so didn't it get sent to London in the first place?

Sorry not trying to pry just don't understand, I presume you are in the list of 38 occupations? If you sent it to London 7 months ago and they haven't sent it back then they are continuing to process it, by you getting an LMO and permanent job offer that would get added to your application and you would get bumped up the list due to the arranged employement, 6-12 months is still the figure being bandied around for this.

But I don't understand where Sydney would come into it as they are the pre-approval processing unit and if yours is already submitted why would they pull it out of London and shift over to Buffalo? London is known for processing apps quicker than Buffalo and you can only submit to Buffalo once you've been admitted to Canada for a year? OR did they just say you'll be using the Buffalo forms and checklist to send the stuff to London? In which case...well my brain's hurting cos why would you do that?

OK apparently I am filling in Buffalo forms from my immigration lawyers website but they equally apply to London so that is Buffalo off the location list. The original application did go to London but now we have been bumped up the list for the job offer they have said they are getting help from Sidney office on all fast tracks at present to reduce the back log. Does that make sense?

I guess it makes sense anything to speed up the process I say.
