- doi have to go through getting my red seal qualification b4 i go - depends on the area that you are going to, alberta and i think bc (not sure on bc) you can arrive and sit the exam within 6mths of being here, but your employer will want to see that you contacted AAIT and been passed to sit the exam
- what areas of canada are best for construction, looked at alberta, bc and novia scotia - any that are hiring
- what sort of wages should i expect to get just a rough guide - that will depend on the area, the wages are controlled alot with unions esp here in alberta, if you are in a union then the wages are set, calgary i think is $35hr, other areas of alberta lower, but then the cost of living is lower, its like asking wages for the uk, south paid jobs are higher than north jobs
- is there any websites i should look at regarding jobs? - job bank, monster and will depend on where you really want to go as different areas advertise jobs in different areas. networking is the best way of getting into a company
cheers in advance
