I am thinking ahead of myself here and asking about electrial conections, if we move to Canada, would we be able to bring our laptop and just get a canadian electrical wire/charger? or will we need a new laptop?
Thanks x x

There's lots on this in the Wiki but there is little problem with laptops. They are dual voltage. All you need is an adaptor plug.

You'll need a new one since the one you're using can't find the Search function.

Why bother saying anything if you have nothing usefull to say! It was a simple question, no need to be rude. Thank you Souvenir I will take a look.

Hi we have brought our laptop with us and all we needed is an adapter so that our UK 3 pin plug fits in and it works a treat. Hope that helps. I agree if you don't ask then you don't know and this is what this site is meant to be for. Feel free to ask and ask again, whatever your question is.

Buy the adapters in the UK though, they are a complete rip-off if you try to get them here.
