Default EI Eligibility

Hi,

I arrived here in April of 2009. I have been working fulltime since November 2009, initially on a Student Visa and then got my PR Jan 2010. I've had EI deductions from my pay every pay. Come Nov 12, my job may or may not get renewed. That makes it a full callendar year of employment.

Do I qualify for EI in the unfortunate event of unemployment?

If so, what am I likely to expect?

Thanks!

Google "EI eligibility province" where province is <gasp> the name of the province in which you live.
