Hi
Not sure where to start, have heard alot of nice areas to the west of Canada.
Whats Edmonton area like? Where are nice areas to start looking?
We are a family of 4, 2 girls, 6 & 12 love outdoor life.
Looking for somewhere to rent initially any ideas where to look, realtors etc would be really helpful
Thanks in advance XXX

Hi again,
As mentioned on your other thread, you'll need a job offer and LMO to get a visa as a truck driver, so I wouldn't worry about location just yet.
You may find that you just have to go wherever you can find work and an employer prepared to go through the hassle/paperwork/wait of hiring you so won't get much choice in location.
The majority of truck drivers on the forum seem to go to SK or MB, so you could well end up there as that's where companies that are prepared to hire foreigners are based.
I've not heard of any truck drivers going to BC on the forum recently, but you never know! But don't worry about location just yet, figure out where you might get a job offer and LMO, and then you can research where to live.
If you haven't seen it already, there is a good Wiki article on trucking (http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Truck_Driving_in_Canada) and also a trucking forum.
HTH.
