Default ecas question

Hello all.
Our address disappeared from our ecas status a few months ago, now it has re-appeared.
Has anyone any idea if this is normal?.
Thank you.

maybe a moderator will move this to the Immigraton section where you may find more help.
I have read here on many many occasions that you just cant trust ecas. We chose to not bother with it at all as its often faulty, not up to date and plain misleading.
I am sure someone else will come along soon with some more useful advise but I expect it to be of a similiar nature.

From the popular Canadavisa forums, it's suggested that it could be that your file has been 'pulled for processing' - and on reappearance put back in storage (due to not wanting changes of address whilst file is undergoing processing) but it's anecdotal evidence at best.

Many threads on BE also hint at how slow and inefficient ECAS is. I've no idea if it has improved any over the years.

that happened to us and then about a month later it changed to in process and we had our medical requests. But i think ecas is usless as it does not keep updated with your progress. Mine still says in process and we have our visas.
