Default ECAS? is it any use?

Does ecas actually tell you anything or is it woefully slow at updating?

Only to drive you crazy. We had visas in our passports long before Ecas stated "decision made"

Ours said 'in process' from the time we applied until the day they put the visas in our passports, then it changed to 'decision made' - nearly three years in our case.
