Can't exchange, if PR or on TWP you have to take both written and road test. We found it easy especially the road test

We took the theory test on a thursday as that was the day we had to take it (May vary from centre to centre but Amherst can only sit theory on Thursday's) then once passed that (less than an hour) you pay and get receipt with a phone number which you ring to arrange driving. We had to wait 2 weeks but normally less time than that.

I have been driving 25 years but found the exam OK especially the driving. We drove for about 15 mins with a couple of turn left here and right there with a park up at the side of the road and finished with a reverse and that was it. Theory wasn't too bad either. Neither of us did much studying towards it at all

Hi Sue

Not sure what you are looking for. We wanted something rural as was lucky hubby is working from home and we have 3 dogs (now 4) and wanted somewhere for them. I currently am not working but starting th process for my nursing. I like it up here, everyone is so friendly and welcoming but don't think the job market is great but there again I haven't looked. We are approx 15 mins from the coast and 30-40mins from NB and a couple of hours from halifax. If you want to chat pm me and will swap numbers
