Default Dogs to Canada

Hi All

I have looked into taking my dogs to Canada have come across a hic cup, i have 8 huskies and want to take them all with me, they are kept as pets, the are fully vaccinated, chipped and wormed etc, however it seems that I may only be allowed to take 5 on a licence. Can anyone shed any light on this as I do not want to leave any behind, also I have been told that I could home quarantine them, is this true?

Thank You
