Default Dog licence in Calgary

When do you licence your dog? When it arrives in Calgary? Also what about if you have a temporary address.

Any advice much appreciated.

I think you are supposed to do it as soon as you get a dog/arrive in the city.

I just dialed 311 and spoke to someone who sorted it all out over the phone.

I imagine if you have a temporary address, you could use that one and then call them and change the address once you move to a more permenant one. - again, I would just call the city (ie dial 311) and tell the.

But if you call them, they will be able to tell you what you should do.

As the link I supplied indicated, you can attend in person and obtain one's tags there and then. The temporary address should not be an issue, unless you intend to be out of Calgary when the renewal is posted to you.

If you change address from the one they have on record, you simply inform them of the new address.

It is not an issue at all.
