1. Does CAIPS files help you in preparing for an interview ?

2. Is it dangerous to allow a another company to access your file infromation ?

3. How credible is this company ? Worried bcos using credit card.

Hi there Rajith. To answer your questions :-

1. Wouldn't you like to know why you're being interviewed?

2. Depends who the company is - I don't think that 'dangerous' would be the word I'd use. The print you receive is in mainframe code not 'english' so unless you know what the codes mean, it's unlikely it'll mean anything to anyone else. CAIPS files are only available to canadian citizens so you won't be able to get one yourself.

3. I don't know how crediable this company is. I am protected because I'm using my credit card but Mike (one of it's founders) is a regular poster to yahoo group britaintocanada and I certainly trust him. Don't send your credit card details over email as it's not safe. Write or fax them.

4. Yes I have. File received by CHC a few weeks ago and when the results come in he will interprate them for me. So far they have been very professional in our dealings, something which I have no doubt will continue. The theory is that if you have a lawyer/consultant he should do this for you is a canadian citizen however mine has refused so I went to this company on recommendation. Can't rate them high enough.
