I've probably had more life experience than most of you bitching
If you want to work hard and earn decent money as well as having a multitude of out of work activities available - then Calgary offers you that. If you want to just have an easy life in a 9-5 where you do not get challenged for your job in terms of others competing, then Calgary probably is not the city. Personally I love it here apart from one thing - I can't find a pub that will open for the Saturday early Premiership kickoff's nor the early kick off on Sunday. Only complaint about Calgary. Oh, and you can't buy Cadbury's Creme Egg's past Easter. |

As you said earlier, this is an open forum and everyone is entitled to their opinion. When you make a comment - which, let's be honest was somewhat subjective - then you must be prepared to accept the responses from people who are probably much more worldy wise and experienced than yourself. Just as you said 'nobody knows my life" nor do you know others. :focus: I don't regret coming to Canada though I regret some of my decisions made whilst here! :) |

Still enjoying the table service, sweet potato fries and the lovely servers who bring them too me.
When I need to get serious I'll head back to Blighty and elbow my way to the bar, ordering pints from Fat Frank with the bad teeth. Overall fairly happy with my decision. |

Please don't tell me one of your 90 barbeques is on Christmas Eve in Canada like it is in Aus/NZ. Even you can't be that obsessed with burnt food. |
