I'd say the collective value of this hoarding would clear the national debt of some S.American countries,
Honestly does the world need a ride on mower with drinks holder and sat nav?

Ya all is conflating religious belief and culture. Anthropological rule number 2 is: don't do that. Carry on!

I own a farm, could not run it without my truck. We also have a Jeep Wrangler for use as an ATV basically; it rarely goes off the farm. However both of these vehicles are pretty gas-guzzling and are not really suitable for loads of hours of travelling. So.......

what we did was buy a Subaru Outback. Nice little car, has AWD and has never ever got stuck, plenty of trunk-space and fairly nicely kitted out inside with all the toys. The real beauty of the Outback is that it is a fairly mundane and non-"look at me!" style to it. It is absolutely perfect for us and may be an option for you?

*Disclaimer* BTW I am not "into" Japanese cars, but I love this one!

Thanks for the info, I will have a look at these properly, I have seen they do a station wagon (Estate) which would suit me down to the ground.

Yes ours is the Legacy-based station-wagon Outback; it has a surprisingly large trunk capacity for a small car.

Oh and by the way just to answer your other question; I find a lot of people around this area, farmers included, are quite "snobby"; much more so than back in Hampshire. For some reason they aren't like this with me or my family, but even if they were, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest as I do my own thing and am not affected by what others think or do.

one of the things we liked about our many trips to canada is that the people we have met dont judge you by how you dress, talk or what your job is, we have friends who live in a trailer, others who do the cottage in muskoka thing. We havent found the hierachy that exists here, you arent defined by your job or how big your house is.

I can back that up: used to have an Outback. The 6 cylinder engine version (3.0H6) is beautiful. The car handles well and is lovely to drive. The interior is a bit Japanese (sparse plastic) but the 4WD is excellent.

Don't think much of VDC tho': did a ballet in snow (rotated 720 degrees at 10mph) and the light didn't even come on to say "I tried and failed to stop the spin".
