Default Do I need a specific Visa as a UK resident to sit the SEC assessment?

Hello all!

I was wondering if someone can please help me regarding the requirements for a visa to sit the Nursing SEC assessment?

I am a British citizen, with a standard passport.

I have been informed by the CRNBC that I have until November to sit my SEC assessment. I am aiming to get across post pregnancy in the October.

I have a feeling I'm being incredibly stupid, but I have checked the CIC website and it indicates that I do NOT require a visa to sit the exam. I was assuming that I would need an element of a study or business related visa to validate the exam dates. I will only be flying over for a matter of days on my British passport.

I will request an 'invite' letter from the CRNBC to confirm with Border Control that I'm not going to disappear and that there is intent and purpose to my trip!

Can someone please help confirm if this information is correct or I've been very daft and overlooked an obvious answer!

Many thanks!

Short answer No visa required or any special type of permit.
