just wondering can anyone advise me as i am on a TWP & have got my Alberta Personal Health Card, my partner who has yet to arrive suffers from diabetes and uses Nova Rapid & Levemir so can anyone help me my advising if we need additional health care & which is the best company,

There was a recent thread on this. His prescriptions will not be covered by Alberta Health so whether he wants to pay for them in full himself or pay the additional premiums he will have to to an insurance company is a judgement call for him to make. If he obtains a job, he will likely receive some form of insurance via his employer but there will likely be a waiting period of 3 months before he is eligible to join it.
