I voted for British Columbia. It's weakness is the relatively high cost of housing, and it may not be the best for job prospects.

I've lived/worked in Nova scotia though I worked for an out of province company.to me the locals were very much like rural nothern english or scottish, resiliant, not much spare cash, stuck together(some may call it clichey?)I had a great time even thought of moving there, but fate dealt a hand that I could not fold.

Has anyone lived in all of these places to be able to form an opinion of which one is best ? !!!
I'll vote for Alberta - it's the only place I've lived!

Kind of pointless to vote in this one, everyone has to weigh up the pros and cons of their particular circumstances. Anywhere in Canada would be a step up for most newcommers, but remember if you dont like where you first come to, there are a lot of other places to try before leaving.
