Just packing the last box and want to be sure I have everything I need.
So, while putting in for the visa there was loads of documents to complete and I kept copies. Is it safe to throw these away now or will I need them at any point?
Last minute nerves have set in, not about moving but about forgetting something important. I have cancelled all utilities, told credit card companies I am heading off, sorted insurance, got all my education certs and tax forms. I also acquired a credit report and will be picking up some spending cash tomorrow.

Heading to Vancouver on Sunday.
There was a lot of paper work, do I need to have it to hand or can I put it in with stuff I am shipping across?

When I came (years ago) I needed the visa stapled into the passport. The rest came with the rest of the shipping.

Good luck - our removal van left today, we fly to London tomorrow and then across the Atlantic. Glad to see we're not the only ones daft enough to choose to move at this time of year.

Thanks for the good wishes, the removal men come tomorrow and then I will call BT about charging me twice in one month, after cancelling my phone and broadband - wouldn't mind but they disconnected me on time!
I will be glad to finally get there and dry out, too many going away drinks with people, most of which I think just want contact for future holiday purposes! Big country, they will have to find me first!
