Default Decision Made - Mr Miller?

Hi there,

Okay, now I'm really frustrated, so I'm hoping maybe someone has some thoughts or advice for me.

Have been checking and checking on the 'E-client' for months and nothing ... suddenly I see that a decision has been made. The 'E-client' actually says..

"Letter sent to you on 15th August, 2002 regarding our decision".

However, nothing has arrived yet and it is now September 4th!

Does anyone have any experience of these type of occurances or any advice etc on this matter?

Regards,
Bushbaby

it would be some time between a decision being made, to the letter being printed and signed, to it actually being put in the post, (regular mail) to you actually getting it...

hang tight... seems you are almost there...

Thanks for your speedy reply Bighead. Sounds like you may well be correct, but it does seem rather strange to enter into the 'E-client' that they have actaully sent the letter when indeed they have not yet done so!

Incidentally, I was told that the CIC uses Diplomatic mail. E.g. If a person applied through London CIC and they are using a representative in Canada, then any mail will be sent to a CIC post in Canada using Diplomatic mail and then forwarded to the representative in the same country. If this is in fact the case it could perhaps account for some of the time delays in receiving mail from the CIC. Does anyone have any knowledge of this or info on what postal system the CIC is using?
