I was going for the more obvious newcastle fans all being pikeys who need pay-day loans at 4000+% so they can get down the pub or the bookies.

Conceivably, some of these "pikeys" who have taken out a loan with Wonga could end up spending it on replica jerseys, essentially paying 4000+% for the privilege of having the Wonga logo emblazoned across the chest.

That right there is a marketing exec's wet dream.
