Day Excursions from Toronto?
Can anyone recommend any nice places to visit outside of Toronto?
Any nice towns that could fill a few hours?
Preferably somewhere that can be reached by Go train, but we
could rent a car if necessary.
We've been to Niagara Falls BTW!!

Seriously, I drove up to Belleville/Brockville last time I was in TO. Had a very pleasant couple of days wandering round the lakes and sampling local food. Mind you, I had left the kids behind. It was a rest like no other....
