Went to that pub once, didnt like it. Its not a real pub and it doesnt serve real drinks, so why would I waste my time there

You have to let the pub grow on you .......like moss....take what you like and ignore the rest......

I went speed dating for the first time ever on Monday.
I had a real blast, and not just because it made a change from the 60+ year olds I'm hanging out with these days.
Most of the people I met were pretty normal, friendly and had good social skills. Strangely one of the exceptions was the Brit who was running the show...
Find out today if anyone was interested (ahem!) in me....

I think last time we discussed this, we decided that most Canadians drink heavilly and quietly at home rather than go out an do it socially ... if you try a selection of Calgary pubs, you'll understand why.
