Is it better to change your CDN to GBP in Canada or UK?

Depends on the FX rate you get.

If your transferring your funds bank to bank its best to speak with a money transfer specialist.

British Expat members are able to take advantage of free transfer fees. Please visit the page below for more details. If you are looking at exchanging funds at a Bureau de change then it does depend upon the rate. Normally the airports tend to be expensive unless you use a company such as Moneycorp who are located in many of the leading UK airports.
