Never mind Coronation Street (yawn), I can still get my fix of David Tenant by the looks of things.
How delightful!

I am just about to watch the next sequential episode of Corrie since I left the UK. We are 9 months behind here in Nova Scotia so have yet to view the Christmas 06 episodes and of course the ...... MURDER
- that'll give you plenty time to settle in here before you see YOUR next episode
Regarding the lovely David Tennant - Dr Who is pretty up-to-date here and is being shown on TV at the moment. On the link shown below you can also catch him in Casanova............. a bit raunchy, but fab to say the least
For anyone missing out on some good old British TV, you can watch some programmes/sport/film etc here. Enjoy......

When we lived in the Beach the local pool hall had Big Screen Coronation Street on Sunday mornings. Not only was the place packed but people dressed up as characters from the show. Some people say Toronto has neither life nor culture but they just don't know.

thats great news, I'll be able to watch and I don't mind having to catch up and watch them again

I'm just about to settle down and watch last nights corrie on my sky +, (and David Tennant in Casanova was brilliant)
Good to hear there are other fans out there
Thank you for all your replies

I originally thought Corrie was only 6-9 months behind but seeing as they go through periods where they don't show it at all it's further than that behind - The big crime has not yet been committed.
Deadenders is also on and they are changing the show times from weekend mornings to tea time during the week - something like 7et.
Casualty is also on on a Tuesday night - Fin will be found dead tonight - so 2.5 years behind? Greys Anatomy is, dare I say better than Casualty IMO.
You can get loads of english programmes here, we have even found, at times One Foot in the Grave, which is always good for a chuckle.

Did you know you can sing "lets all be miserable" to the theme for Corrie?

I call it Sesame Street, and my wife never misses an episode.
How can people speak with so many marbles in their mouth, and are all British women really such sleep about Slags, and how can they afford all those drinks??

Get a UKNova account, download epsidoes and you'll never be more than a few days behind. See all the countless other threads on UKNova for info on how to set it up. You might also want to invest in some TV-out cables for your computer or a DVD player that can handle DivX files (not expensive).
