Container left us today...!
Watched all of our worldly goods disappear down the road today enroute to Liverpool where they will set sail for Toronto next week!
VERY strange feeling after the hectic activity of all of the packing. They are due to arrive sometime after the 23rd of July, we land on July 12th.
We are now left with an old mattress, a laptop, kettle and a house to clean!
Can't quite believe that it is all finally happening at last...

Hi Lorraine,
We can remember that feeling... this time last year. Time will fly and you will be busy organising your landing and other things that follow. Can't believe it is almost a year since we arrived here and it has been very interesting. We are looking forward to the Calgary Stampede experience as we missed it by a week last year.
Our med results has been delivered to CIC yesterday so I will be contacting CIC in around 2-3 weeks to check status..
Good luck with it all and have a good last summer in UK!!

Must be a crazy feeling seeing all your stuff disappear...I reckon that being reunited with it all again in Canada will be a very sweet feeling though!!!

wow... seems so strange that those of us who have had similar timelines are finally getting out there!

Thank you all for your good wishes.
We have spent today cleaning frantically ready to hand back to the landlord next week. We took a chance and sold our house a while ago, with hindsight that was a great move!
Now I feel more than ready to start making Canada home. Just can't wait until the 12th July!
Good luck to all of you too, and speedy house sales to those of you waiting on this!
