Hi Colin,

There was a thread not long ago that lots of people had posted their shipping quotes on which you may find useful. So have a search and you'll probably find lots of info. Also, look in the Wiki (on blue bar at top of page) as there is no doubt some info in there about shipping.

Cost will depend on the size of your property and how much you are shipping, I think ours will be about £4k but that's for a 4 bed detached and contents. So yours may vary, but if you do a search you should get some idea.

Hope that helps.

Hi Colin
As a ball park figure, for a 20 foot container your looking at about £3,500, with marine insurance on top of that. we just had bonners round to quote us, we have a 3 bedroom semi.

hope this helps

Peter.

4 months ago I think we paid about $4,000 with insurance through John Mason.

We used Fox's, very reliable excellent service and I think we paid around 3,000 for a 3 bed house, garage and shed
