Need some help...
I have a company whci hI would like to contact with a view of securing an interview with. They are a distributor for a company I used to work for. I have a good relationship with the4 company over here and I have had dealing with the company in Canada. I want to write to them offering my services, copying my cv etc, but havent got a clue what to write, has anyone done anything like this before that could give me some tips?
Many thanks,

Hi Lee
You need to add the standard things but most of all you need to say why you will make a differnece to their company. Why should a Canadian employer spend their time and effort in bringing someone over to Canada. It's far easier for them to employ someone from over there.
Therefore you should state how you will make the difference, add value, make the extra bucks, save the company a fortune etc etc. It helps to know about the company and mention a few specifics. Also give examples of similar things you have done to date.
Personalise your CV to fit their needs.
Give the company a ring, find out who you should send your letter to and then address it personally to them.
Cheers
