Would any of you kind souls have contact info (email or Phone no.) for following up on a Visa application?

My mother applied for a parent/grandparent supervisa. It's well over the expected timeline and after an initial flurry of communication through the portal at the beginning of the process, it has gone deathly silent. She made some kind of enquiry online (i don't know how) and what seemed like an automated answer and then nothing else. That was over a month ago and nothing. Hoping somebody has a hotline/hot-email that gets to a human and /or provides information? She's stressing out a bit over this. Any steers would be appreciated.

Where is she now, UK or Canada?

Did she do a case specific enquiry do you know? What does the status say online? And when did she apply?

I really don't know about the case enquiry, sorry. She is in the UK, application was made online from there. She applied in July 2023. Status says "submitted" and "In progress". Biometrics were done in August last year and as far as I know that was the last thing.done/last contact.

That definitely sounds odd then if she applied well over a year ago. Is she sure she's not missed an email or something?
