Default Cold feet

Anyone else experience cold feet leading up to moving date? It's 3mths till OH starts his job in Vancouver, am wondering when excitement and enthusiasm will kick in.....right now it's mainly anxiety

Pretty normal in the run up to a move that you start noticing and appreciate things where you are. Especially Britain, it is great after all! The thing to do is not think in such dramatic terms (like leaving for good, new life etc). Look on it as an adventure, but not an irreversible one.

I agree with Shard. Best not too look at the negatives of living in Canada like the; dreadful cold, no sense of humour, terrible food, poor education, lack of family support, cost of flights back, no decent pubs and the price of everything. Focus on the positives. Honestly after a few years, some say up to six, you’ll adjust.
