Were you in Singapore? When did u receive the request for your pasports. Was it long after your medical?

Yes, I was (and still am) in Singapore, but will be on a flight to Canada on
Saturday!

I received the letter telling me to submit (courier/registered mail/walk-in) my
passport and 3 photos about 5 weeks after my medicals. I'm not sure whether that is
the 'standard' timeline for Singapore, as spousal applications get priority in
processing. I applied as the spouse of a Canadian citizen, and the whole PR process
from beginning to end took less than 6 months.

I'm not sure why they requested only for your photos, but not your passport?
