Hi Expert !
My wife had to spend 1.5 years outside of Canada due to a family emergency.
At that time she was a permanent resident by status.
She had stayed out of Canada with 3 of my kids, of whom 2 were Canadian Citizens.
Can she count that time which she had spend out of Canada in her Citizenship application for residency requirements completion , based on the fact that she was living out of Canada with Canadian Citizens ?
Thanks in Advance !

OPTION 1. Accompanying a Canadian citizen outside Canada
You may count each day that you accompanied a Canadian citizen outside Canada provided that the person you accompanied is your spouse or common-law partner or parent, if under 22 years old

Hi
Note the OP is asking about Citizenship, not retaining PR status. So the answer is as above, she can't count the time outside Canada for citizenship, nor for maintaining her PR status.
