Test is only easy if you read "Discover Canada",try without doing so and you'll get caught out by some questions , I had know idea about the seven artists for example. :D

One of the toughies my wife had was what was Sir William Logan famous for ?

The scariest bit is having to sing the National anthem solo in front of all those people...all 15 verses.

I would have thought booking the circumcision would top that.

:D No smartass with the correct answer yet ?
Being rather anal with these things I printed the oath and anthem on crib cards for the family only to have official ones handed to us at the ceremony, oh well we're only doing it once so may as well get it right

My elementary school daughter has been teaching me the words to O Canada, so we are not too bad here. And I know that she will join in from the peanut gallery!.....

He's the one who was hidden on the inside of the back cover of the book, isn't he? I only noticed him after reading through it about a dozen times.

So after a couple of days to recover from the shock of actually getting the letter and taking the test 36 hours later.....I can now report back that the test was a mixture of very easy questions and questions that are there to trip you up.....

We now have to wait for 4 months to get the results...and (please not) if we fail ( family application - no separating the files), over a year to see a judge.....

We were at the government office from 8.20am until 11am in total.

Seriously, this is the longest process I have ever experienced!

Which, of course, you knew about when you took your citizenship test.

Thank you for the heads up on the test. I am morphing the 4 months into an advantage so my family who are all Canadian can witness my swearing in (if all goes well).

My son was interested to hear that I would be swearing in front of everybody......
