To all those in the queue a bit of good news
We were nominated by the province on the 11th Nov 2008
The CHC in London received the application on the 25th Nov 2008
We received med requests today
The letter was dated 17th Dec 2008 but since we are already here it has taken from then until now to get the post to us. (almost as long as the processing at the CHC)
So less than a month in processing at the CHC, what a great new year present and hope for all those in the queue that things are moving fast at present
Good luck to all, it wont be long now

Thanks chumley and yes the post does take quite a time sometimes but others not so long.
I've now got to arrange for my kids to come out so they can have them done even though they wont be here with me. Thought it would be easier if we all had them done together rather than them having them done in the Uk and us having them done here plus it gets them a holiday for another week

Thanks!!!
Whats great is that they seem to be processing v fast at the moment so the light at the end of the tunnel should be getting bigger for lots more people

Great News Dean, Congrats
From our timeframe, we received PPR within 3 weeks of meds being done, so you shouldn't be too much longer. Hope you can get things arranged quickly

That's great news, how quick
We hope to be nominated after our interview / meeting in March, who knows with these timeframes we could only be 6 months behind and be in NS by Xmas
Best of luck with your meds.

it really is amazing the time frames for it all
Nikki have you had passports back yet?
What are the time frames from them asking for passports to actually getting them back so you can land?

No, not back yet, they have had them for 2 weeks which I think is roughly the normal time but I suppose we have had the small matter of xmas
Hopefully within the next week we may get them back
