Rich, whats a GLK?

Sounds like an exceptionally bad Subaru, what are the "lemon laws" here?
GLK

I've owned Subarus previously and had no issues at all. This one has been a PITA. No lemon laws in BC, though there's an arbitration route if you can't get satisfactory resolution from the manufacturer. In effect though, if the car's under warranty and it's being repaired, you're stuck with it. Subaru have conceded that it's not up to standard though and offered a like for like replacement, but they want me to contribute $3,500 towards it.

Joking aside, the build quality difference between the Forester and GLK is huge. Well worth the price differential if they're within your budget. The Merc handles better too, less body roll and a much more compliant ride. The Subaru gets a little wallowy and needs a beefier rear sway bar really.

Bit out of date as the Flex is built in Ontario and I think the Chrysler factory has shut.

O' I know that LOL. Chrysler owned the leasing company for GM and Dodge. They did have other options on leasing. Maybe that's change now then.

So really is down to.

Toyota
Honda
Ford
Mitsubishi
Nissan
Suzuki

My money would be on Toyota and Honda and I'd take a look at some Fords and Hyundais.

The Flex is in there, look under Light Trucks, the Oakville plant's output is the Flex, Edge and Lincoln MK-X.

The Chrysler facilities in Brampton and Windsor reopened for yesterday's morning shift.
