child tax credit/marriage
I have a question about child tax credit and marriage. I got married in June, my husband is in England as we have not yet submitted out application for PR. Nothing has changed for me income wise. How does this affect my chld tax credit?

Im not sure anything will change immediately because as hes not a PR he wont have filed a tax return with CRA, so they wont know what income if any would be counting against your CTB. Next year, assuming he becomes a PR and files a return it may have an impact is my guess.

You should still complete RC65 and they will ask more questions if they need to.
CCTB is based in the the last years earnings.

Hmmmm...CRA most definitely wanted my wife to provide a statement from me about my earnings in the tax year we were married.
I was in Canada only as a visitor in that year.
It didn't change anything on her CCTB but they wanted the info.
