Ah but that was yesterday. I've had an entire container of Haagen Daaz rocky road icecream since then and today is another day! I just know we are going to win today against finland. :D

Now I must run and get my errands done so Im back for the game!

Now I understand. If I want to eat ice cream I just eat it. I dont need to suffer watching the hockey, hoping my team will lose so I have an excuse! :p


Do ya think they can beat that powerhouse of international hockey that is Finland. The suspense is killing me. :rolleyes:

See, there you go making fun of the Finns:), when they could very well be one of the powerhouses of hockey as have been the Czechs, the Swedes,the Russians and even the U.S. in recent years. All of those countries have produced excellent players who now play in the NHL.

It has actually been some time since Canada was a true powerhouse in international hockey.

Also take a look at the roster for Team Canada, it's not exactly a list of who's who in the NHL. The only two major big name players are Sidney Crosby and Brendan Shannahan the rest are not exactly star quality at this point in thier careers.

In my opinion Team Canada is a joke, as I said in an earlier post either they didn't invite some of the major players who were available or they did and those players chose not to participate.
