Anywhere you can recommend I stay for about 5 nights in Halifax? (good bars?)

Dunno whether Zoom is flying in Oct but you should check out Air Canada as their fares drop dramatically in price out of peak season. Worth keeping a regular eye on their website as they have numerous seat sales. AC & Zoom are the only direct flights to Halifax IIRC. Any other option will involve flying past Halifax to Toronto or elsewhere and flying back which always seems a bit pointless to me.

That's a good price. Remember that Zoom doesn't fly to NS from 1st Nov through to March 31st.

It's a long trek if you fly via Toronto as you pass over NS to get there and have to fly back.

I flew in October to Halifax last year (lovely time to go) with zoom it was £620 for two returns from Glasgow, That price included reserved seats.
