CHC searches Information in my current Office
Attention Every Body specially W. Miller:
Canadian High Commission in Dhaka searched information
regarding detail of my current job position and salary in my office over telephone on 26 Sept. 2002. They called my senior manager in IT of our company. As far as I know they don't search by this way.They take interview.My many friends went to canada by this way but they don't search by this way.
Is it a sign for waiver of interview?
I applied from Bangladesh to Singapore HC.
I am an Analyst Programmer and B.Sc. Enginner(Computer).
I applied in Independent catagory on 19 June 2001.

As far as i now, it is not uncommon for the embassy to do this. They want to check if the presented information is correct (since there are forged 'proofs' of professional experience). This does not mean that you will be granted interview waiver

It is just a standard background check and verification of work experience.
Nothing unusual. And it is not a sign of interview waiver at all.
