Hello again

How soon after submitting your application does CHC London usually return an application for whatever reason.

Just wondered as it has not happened to us but was worried that it may happen around the time you expect medical requeste to arrive - or do they inspect for errors early on and send back asap?

We had our application returned within about 2 weeks all because we paid too much money. Each section had been checked, and the file dated a hole punched through it with a string tag through the lot. We got new cheque and returned, never to see it again. So they check the basics are in it ie, all the application requirements, then file it.
YOu will never see the whole thing again, they destroy all paper including references etc. All they keep is the main application, all other detailsa re added to the computer, and paper destroyed. Once you have got PR, they keep relevant info on micro film for about 18 years I believe.

Do they return photos, etc. that you send as proof for a common law relationship do you know?
Or are we better off sending copies?

Mr B sent his common-law application to London when it should have gone to Mississauga. It was returned within 4wks, rifled through, all out of order, photos stapled to various pages - so they certainly seem to go through applications early on in the process.
