8 August 2001 - Received AOR
31 Jan 2002 - Received note informing me of medical
3 March 2002 - Received medical instructions
9 May 2002 - Medical completed and sent to CIC
still waiting

HI

I would like to here from anyone who has waited more than 7 months for their assessment after receiving AOR from London.
The AOR advises not to contact before 6 months but I am unsure weather to fax them or wait a bit longer.

Any ideas ?????

I have been waiting from 8 months from CHC london after receiving AOR till today no news E-status shows in Process.

Can't understand what is going on

Glad to here I am not alone.
Have you or are you going to send a fax ??
I want too but dont want to disrupt if you know what I mean.
My case is not straight forward I have other applications they are obviously comparing too. I think this for me is what is taking all the time. I cannot access my e-client at all its so frustrating.
Is your application straight forward ??

I too have am waiting to here from London. AOR 04 Mar 02.

You say you have waited 8 months when is your AOR dated ?and how are you accessing e-client , did you apply before Jan 02 ??

Can I ask you what the timeframe stated on your AOR says,
Is it 6-12 months or 15-20 ? you say you contacted after 6 months. I have been advised not to contact as my AOR says processing time is 15-20 months.

Now I see where your 6 months thing is comming from.

My AOR says dont contact within 15-20 but the information booklet that I received with my application pack supplies a form which says use this form to contact if you have no communication from CHC within 6-12 months.
Why are they trying to confuse people !!
I have decided not to speak unless spoken too !
Some people will be glad to know!!

I am also thinking of sending a FAX but don't have access to Receive a FAX message reply.

Try and find a friend with a fax machine, i also don't have a fax machine
but a friend offered to send it for me and CHC London replied to their
machine and they just scanned teh fax and emailed it to me which was very
helpful.
You could also just try snail mail, it's only gonna take a day to get there
if you send it first class and they may even pay more attention to a letter
than a fax as i presume almost everything people send them asking stuff is
via fax.
I believe it says on the CHC London website that they wont normally respond
unless it's more than 6 months after their last contact or something like
that, most of the time if it's within the stated time then there isnt much
to say but wait.
