any ideas/recommendations on any decent catteries in ottawa (brought the cat over from uk) - nothing appears on google!

My Canadian husband, formerly from Ottawa, said to look for a vet not a cattery.

I don't even know what a cattery is. I thought it was a cat breeder. It sounds more like you want a boarding kennel because you already have a cat - unless you want another one!

What's a cattery?

We left ours in "Place for Pawz" near Rockland, about 20 minutes out of Ottawa on the old Montreal Road. I'll dig up the 'phone number.

cattery is a place where they look after cats when you're away - like kennels, but for cats...

as has been mentioned, it appears they are called boarding kennels here

Quite good, clean and freindly. Bring all your vaccination paperwork, as in any boarding kennel or cattery.
