Carrying Gold to Canada
 
Hello,

We are moving to Canada in July. Is there any restrictions to carry Gold while you travel to Canada.

No, just declare it on your goods accompanying list.

customs recommend that you take photos and have any valuable jewelry's value appraised , I believe.

If you are carrying gold bar or coins worth more than $10,000 you must declare it to customs.

You could use a series of Mini Coopers and a coach - it's been done before but then, hasn't everything.

What about making a set of novelty items out of it? Such as a lighter, a pen etc. They could be assembled to make something else - probably.
