Does anyone know of any rental company's that will hire out to two 24 year olds for a few days in the Toronto/Scarborough area?
Most of the big online company's want you to be 25.

I think that many of them will rent out to under 25s, but they charge a daily supplement. Might be worth having a look at the small print for some of the common ones eg Thrifty, Dollar etc

For 4 Days in April a 24 year old will pay £23 per day.
For a week in April £20 per day.
They get very good deals for you at various local car hire companies.

I have used them quite a bit and I recommend them.

Im a bit stuck where to pick up though. ill be staying in Brooklin for the first night at least and giving it back in scarborough.

There doesnt seem to be an office in Whitby, or even Ajax, how far is it to Oshawa from Brooklin, im sure we can get a lift to the hire place but dont want it to be too out the way.

Brooklin to Oshawa is about 15kms / 20 minutes.
Oshawa to Scarborough 35kms / 30 minutes (not in rush hour)

You will be charged a drop off fee for pick up at one location and drop off at another. Could be as much as $50 but not sure.
Might pay you to pick up and drop off at same location and Go Train between Oshawa and Scarborough.
Both locations are in respective Downtowns.

good point didnt realise the drop off fee would be as much, no harm in a wee go train ride back to scarborough.

Yup - we've used them a few times and they have been great - changed a car no problem at a different location when the windshield shattered.
