Default Car insurance in Calgary

Hi there.

Has any one got any contacts or had a good experience with a car insurance company for a newcomer in Calgary.

Thanks.

send an email to Bill Eckhart at Touchstone: [email protected]

he sorted me out as a UK immigrant to Calgary, they took into account my UK NCB and driving history too

Hi

[email protected]

Cindy is amazing - like the other poster NCB was taken into account and she was brilliant at explaining how it all works over here with plates etc and registering a car.

She also got our tenant insurance.

$1200 for the year for both.

Try Johnson insurance, they gave good quotes to quite a few people here

Would it be a good idea to have a sticky on car insurance?
It seems like every 5 minutes there's a question about who/where to go for car insurance and the answers are invariably the same.

I second this, Cindy is great. They recognised our UK NCB, she also got us a better quote than my wife gets working for an insurance company!!

They're based just off Mcleod Trail.

Hi - I'd definitely recommend using a broker. I got loads of quotes direct from websites but the cheapest I found for our car (Toyota Corolla 2002) was around $1500 for the year for 2 drivers.
Going through a broker, I got it for $792. The company it was with (Intact) had quoted me over $2k!
They also accepted our UK no claims.
