Trying to get rid of a bunch of cheap or free furniture in maple ridge, for free and I literally cannot give it away, also trying to flog our minivan (dodge caravan, 2002) and can't get a buyer to come out this far!!! (232st, so not central town, but not exactly the boonies) Ugh we have to move out tomorrow and will lose deposits if we don't clear out stuff.
Craigslist has let me down anyone any ideas how to ditch it legally without faffing all day? I need to get dog to the vet and get export paperwork sorted.

You could donate your furniture et al to the salvation army. Lots of others could use it
Any vehicle will go quick enough if the price s right. Stick a big ad on Kijiji saying "make me a stupid offer - this vehicle has to go today"

Have the thrift store as a backup tomorrow if no joy.
Silly offers would be great right now, I just don't want to have to leave it and be liable for any issues.

Good luck.
If worst comes to worse, you may have to scrap it. Personally, I would hate to do this to a car with life left in it, but if you physically can't get rid of it and need to get rid of it, maybe give this company a call.

Like I said, I would hate to do that to a car with life left in it, but if you need to be legally absolved of it, then this should be your "if all else fails" option.

How about putting the Caravan in the Michener Allen auction? They should be able to transfer you the money after the fact.

So you are def going back then? Seems a shame after the all the effort to get here.

I'll give you $500 for the Caravan if you drop it off down the road from you at my Father In Laws

Hi, so sorry to hear about your situation, we live in Langley, would be interested in any furniture you may have

The offer is still there on the Caravan. I'm out your way tomorrow from 3pm onwards. Let me know how low you're looking to get rid of it for.

Sorry rich, just seen this, we have moved to richmond hotel now and hubby will take it to a liquidation place tomorrow. It owes us $2500 so we are loathe to scrap it, it needs some work to right front shocks, but otherwise it's sound.
Yes gut wrenchingly we are flying home tomorrow, but hope to be back soon.
Managed to get dog flight back for £812, plus $202 for the box. A whole bunch of faffing at the vets etc, saved me a fortune! Just tired of the what ifs and need some certainty for the kids. Canada is still the long term plan and it was horrible leaving my mountain.
Thanks all for your concern and suggestions.
