Not at all, there are ways to get UK channels here and to use facilities like BBC iPlayer.
Also, Eastenders and Corrie are on cable TV as well.

This was discussed in a previous thread

CS in on every night at 19h00 local time on CBC (they are about 8 months behind).

Big Brother was on here (a US version) but I don't think it really took off. We have loads of scripted and non-scripted reality shows many of which I find insufferable (especially Jon + Kate plus 8).

Deal or no deal is on here in a US version.

Match of the Day can be found on UKNova via bittorrent. Setanta does a great wrap up show. We get all 10 Premier league games per round here on TV through a number of channels...many of them live and in full.

After a few years, you'll realize what a lot of dross some of the shows you listed really are and you may have moved on to Cdn dross....believe me we have it.

Are you smoking crack or something?

All the bold ones can be found here, and there is Setanta and several other games per week on TV here, so no need for MOTD

I thought US TV was just as bad as Canadian TV, what kind of soaps are 'The Bold and The Beautiful' and 'The Young and Restless' ? and every 5 minutes an advert, I don't know how you guys hack it.

You have to give Britain its props for being a world beater when it comes to TV line up.

Where is your Ant and Dec

What you don't realise is that lots of the stuff that are popular on UK TV are from the US.
No need to wait for series like Lost, 24, etc.. because they are LIVE on TV!

Now I know you are taking the piss.

AS for the commercials, its easy, we record everything we want to watch on our PVRs and fast forward through the commercials. Every "hour" takes only 42 minutes or less to watch, so we lead happy productive lives and still get to keep up with House (or whatever)

But do you get Enders and Corrie 3 times a week at 7.30 pm in an order that is just right to coincide with finishing work and winding down ?

uknova? I watched the entire X Factor series without any problems. If the show starts at 9pm in the UK, I get to watch it at 9pm local time.

I can't say for "Enders" but CS is on four nights a week or for two hours on Sunday morning.
