Canadian DVDs in Oz

To all of you who moved from Canada to Australia, or vice versa, can you tell me if Canadian DVDs will work in Australia?

Only on multi region DVD players they will otherwise they won't as they are under separate regions

Multi-region DVD players aren't usually that much more expensive than single-region models, so don't worry.
Otherwise, you can download/get codes from t'internet which will de-regionalise your existing player.
That's what I did with my Philips DVD player - originally Region 2 only (I'm still here in Blighty, btw...) and it plays discs from all over the world now, including Region1 (USA/Canada).

Tho not all DVD's are 'hackable' to make them regin free
I just got a cheapo one in Canada for $60 about 25 pounds
