Canadas government setup

I've hardly ever seen anyone in Calgary wearing fur. On the news the other day there was a feature where they were interviewing people on the street in Toronto about relaunching fur to wear and they nearly all recoiled in disgust at the suggestion. It just seems strange then that an eastern liberal PC luvvie and his family should be draped in dead animal skins on a Christmas card.

"Eastern" seems wrong, btw, isn't this the Trudeau who lives in Vancouver?

It's not something I would have noticed, fur is commonly worn in Canada. Perhaps they're making a statement but I'd think it more likely they just grabbed something warm and traditional. It seems they're not as sensitive to European concepts of political correctness as yourself.

Does he still live in BC? Wouldn't that make being the MP for somewhere in Quebec rather tricky?

Legally he'd need an address in his constituency but, no, I don't think he'd more or less effective as an MP for somewhere if he never visited the place.
